Plastic Coated Galvanized Highway Guardrail

Plastic Coated Highway Guardrail is an engineered safety barrier designed to create a physical and visual separation between traffic lanes and other roadside hazards.
It is composed of a steel core that is then covered in a plastic coating, which helps protect the metal from damage. To apply the finish you must first clean the surface and then apply a primer, followed by the plastic coating.
It is typically installed along highways, freeways, urban roads, and other high-traffic areas. The main specifications for this guardrail includes: Height – 3 feet 10 inches (1.17 m); Width – 12 inches (305 mm); Steel Pipe OD – 2 7/8 inches (73 mm); Steel Wall Thickness – 0.1 inches (2.5 mm); Galvanized Coating – Hot-dip galvanization. The guardrail finish is usually applied with a zinc epoxy coating. There are several color options available, such as clear, black, green, yellow, and red.
